[This photo was] photographed throughout a research break on the College of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC. I discover birding to be a wonderful method to clear my thoughts of any stresses introduced on by faculty.
We agree that birding could be a stress-free interest, and Anna’s Hummingbirds are nice birds to look at! These tiny birds with brilliant pink gorgets are sometimes seen at yard feeders within the West. You can also make home made hummingbird meals by dissolving one half sugar in 4 components water. Be certain to not use honey, meals coloring, or particular/natural sugars – common white granulated sugar is okay. Make certain to scrub feeders each time you refill them to forestall mildew and micro organism progress.
