Lucy turned six as we speak. I haven’t a clue how (nearly) six years have handed. She’s on the age the place I’m now beginning to search for indicators of getting older – grey hairs (she already has some), sleeping extra (ha, that will be close to unattainable), stiff joints, and many others. Six isn’t terribly previous by canine requirements however for a bulldog it’s actually not younger.
Lucy is the most effective choice I ever made. I introduced her dwelling once I was in a relationship, however I used to be the one who desperately wished a bulldog, so I saved up, did my analysis, and introduced Lucy dwelling. Now that I’m now not in a relationship, she means much more to me. I genuinely don’t know what I’d do if I went dwelling to an empty condominium each night time. As somebody who suffers from melancholy and anxiousness, I don’t assume I’d be functioning very effectively if I didn’t have Lucy.
She has been such a trooper – she’s been by way of 9 fosters, a number of doggie houseguests and one large transfer. It’s lots and whereas she actually has her bitchy moments, she’s been nice by way of all of it. I’ve been fortunate to have such a straightforward canine; she was housetrained in two weeks, she’s all the time slept by way of the night time, she by no means chews something she shouldn’t, she is aware of the place she’s allowed to sleep and never sleep, she’s nice with all children and adults, is nice on automobile rides…I can actually deliver her wherever and know she’ll be tremendous. Besides if she has to stroll to get there…
I’d have much more cash saved if it weren’t for Lucy and I couldn’t care much less. She’s price it 10 occasions over.
So listed here are a couple of of my favourite Lucy pics:
