20 January 2022 was a two-jay day. The primary was a Steller’s Jays, frequent in forests throughout Washington, western North America, Mexico and northern Central America. They’re current right here all 12 months, however there may be north/south migration or motion out and in of upper elevations. Steller’s Jays range throughout their vary. Our birds have blue face markings, west of us they’ve white on the face, and southern birds are even whiter and have white across the eyes. Birds between these populations are intermediate in colour. The second jay picture is from 19 February 2022 at Capitol Lake in Olympia
